CBD (brief for cannabidiol) is the primary cannabinoid. It is one of the more than 100 naturally occurring cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant and among the most widely researched compounds. Cannabinoids (chemical compounds) are found naturally in the human body and actively interact with cannabinoid receptors throughout the body. When CBD binds to these receptors, as a result, it stimulates various physiological functions within the body.
